Privacy Policy

This policy covers vantanexus.com, run by Vanta Nexus (ABN 44 249 875 114), Brisbane, Australia ("we", "us"). It is written to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. The Frank app (franklife.app) has its own privacy policy inside the app — this page covers the website and the book mailing list only.

What we collect

When you join the free-chapter list, the book list, or a review page list, we collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. That is the whole set. We do not collect payment details on this site — book purchases happen on Amazon under Amazon's own terms, and any direct purchases are processed by Stripe, which handles your card details; we never see them.

What we do with it

Email addresses are used to send you what you signed up for and nothing else: the free chapter and its follow-up sequence if you requested the chapter, or a single line when a new book ships if you joined the book list. We do not sell, rent, or share the list with anyone for their marketing.

Who processes it for us

The list is stored in Supabase (our database provider) and mail is delivered by Resend. This site also uses the Meta (Facebook) pixel and Conversions API to measure whether our advertising works; where a signup is passed to Meta for measurement it is sent as a one-way cryptographic hash of your email, never the raw address. You can opt out of Meta's ad tracking through your Facebook ad preferences.

Access, correction, deletion

Email hello@franklife.app and we will show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Every marketing email also carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first; if you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Retention and security

We keep list data while the list is active or until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Data is stored with access controls and encrypted in transit.
